Tapes n' Tapes

Play it: Tapes n' Tapes The Loon
Download: "Insistor" / "Cowbell" (from tapesntapes.com)

Ok, by now, if you've been surfing the wide music net, you've been inundated with Tapes n' Tapes praise heaped on by the blogosphere. Their debut finally makes it's way into Rhapsody, and is well worth the hype (unlike, say Arctic Monkeys, but that's another post for another time.)

These Minneapolis indie rockers kneel at the altar of all that is precious: Pavement, Wire, Beach Boys, Pixies, The Feelies, Talking Heads, and Television. Instead of playing 'spot the influence' though, you'll just find yourself enjoying the blended smoothie, as it's both tasty and good for you.

I won't say anymore... just get on the damn wagon already!
