Something I didn't think I'd ever see again... old co-workers Bill Gates and Rob Glaser together in front of a camera. The Microsoft settlement in the RealNetworks lawsuit was announced today, and it's good news for Rhapsody fans (and fans of an open digital music environment in general.) A good chunk of this deal is about pushing the Rhapsody music subscription.
This probably explains why Microsoft ended discussions with music labels recently.
