Country music legend George Jones appears this week on Letterman Wednesday, and Fallon on Friday in support of a new greatest hits compilation, A Collection Of My Best Recollection. 
The album is a partnership with Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, as a way to celebrate the restaurant & store's 40th anniversary. "When the idea of working with Cracker Barrel on a CD first came up, I was all for it," says Jones in a recent press release. "I've been eating there for as long as I can remember. I love the idea of having my music right there in their retail store!" There's a joke in there somewhere, but I respect The Possum too much to scratch that itch. Elsewhere, Brendan Benson (The Raconteurs) takes his power pop to Kimmell (Wednesday), Santigold gets cozy with Alexa Chung (Wednesday) and rapper King Cudi gets his network television debut on Letterman (Friday).
