Chuck vs the A-Team: The Juice is Defuse

The ping-ponging of story lines for Chuck has been hard to digest, even knowing that the series had to adapt more than once to additional episode orders (started with 13, expanded to 24). At least here in the scramble for more stories to tell, we get a welcome return of two of the Gretas from the first few episodes (Old Spice pitchman Isiah Mustafa and Stacey Keebler) as new Intercepts. Besides getting Mustafa back in the mix, it was an intriguing exploration of how Chuck is a special vessel for carrying the Intercept -- it's his perceived weaknesses (lack of killer instinct, geek obsessions) that make him the viable Intercept that both his father and Bryce believed him to be.

Musically, highlights were hearing "Murder Weapon" from Tricky's latest release, Mixed Race and a song ("Ticking Heart") from One A.M. Radio's forthcoming (April 12) release Heaven Is Attached By a Slender Thread.

Playlist: Chuck - Episode 4.18

It was pretty obvious that the two Gretas wouldn't be able to handle it. And I'm betting that Awesome is going to not tell Chuck that she has the laptop and then bad things are going to happen. I like Elle the way she is, darnit! To be honest, I'll only watch my favorite shows (of which Chuck is #1 favorite) in HD on DISH Network. As a DISH customer/employee I can tell you that DISH has more HD channels than any other provider, and the quality is simply amazing. And the prices can't be beat, I love it.
