Happy 6th Birthday, High Dive!

The Fremont venue the High Dive has gone through minor changes over the years, but it's always managed to both attract some good artists and sound good -- thanks in part to the acoustic friendly shape.

Now, High Dive has sort of become a North of the ship canal version of Columbia City Theater -- or perhaps, a closer to home mini Doe Bay Festival -- thanks to Kevin Sur of Artist Home who now books the venue.

This weekend the venue is celebrating their 6th anniversary with a couple stellar shows. Friday night has Shim and Hounds of the Wild Hunt (tickets), while Saturday has the Pickwick and Kelli Schaefer (tickets) and don't be surprised if in a couple weeks you find a few (or all) of these artists listed for the 2011 lineup for Doe Bay Fest.
