Music on TV - Week of 06.11.12: Bootsy Collins

Bootsy Collins brings tha funk to  The Late Show with David Letterman on Tuesday .

What's Bootsy doing? The legendary funk bassist is out touring for his 2011 album, Tha Funk Capital of the World, an album that featured his since deceased older brother Catfish Collins on guitar. The tour, like the album, is a tribute to his influences, which includes Catfish along with James Brown, Jimi Hendrix and, of course, Parliament bandmate George Clinton.

Just in time for Father's Day, Showtime is premiering the punk rock father documentary, The Other F Word, which takes a look at the challenges and triumphs of many Dads out there making it in the punk (and not so punk) rock world.
