Crowespective: Lost in E-town

Play it: Rssmbld Sndtrck: Elizabethtown

While I've already posted on the released soundtrack, thought I'd throw this playlist in that contains most the songs that appeared in the movie, most of which don't appear on the released album. Here's a short list of those that didn't make the release:

The Concretes "You Can't Hurry Love"
Fleetwood Mac "Big Love"
Tom Petty "Learning to Fly"
U2 "Pride (In the Name of Love")
James Brown "That's Life"
Kathleen Edwards "Summer Long"
Simple Minds "Promised You a Miracle"
The Temptations "I Can't Get Next to You"

This last one ("I Can't Get Next to You") plays through the credits, and also as Drew's (Orlando Bloom's) ringtone.

Eric Stoltz watch: Once again, nowhere to be seen. The dream is dead. But... I'm noticing his mom has now been in every movie he's directed, so somehow Crowe's mother inherited the pledge he made to cast Eric Stoltz in every film.

Here are Alice Mary Crowe's credits:
Elizabethtown - Aunt Lena
Vanilla Sky - Lucid Dreamer
Almost Famous - Mrs. Deegan
Jerry Maguire - Alice
Singles - Dr. Jamison's Nurse
Say Anything - Teacher at Graduation

Soundtrack listing for songs not appearing on the OST release for Elizabethtown from CameronCrowe.com's Town Hall Forum.

Previously:
Crowespective: The sour and the sweet (Vanilla Sky)
Crowespective: I am a golden god (Almost Famous)
Crowespective: Show me the money (Jerry Maguire)
Crowespective: Love Seattle style (Say Anything, Singles)
Crowespective: Big splash, then big bomb (Fast Times, The Wild Life)
Crowe, Elizabethtown & MMJ

There's a song that plays as he's driving when he calls his uncle to tell him he just landed in Louisville. I don't remember how it goes, but I loved it and can't find it anywhere. Any ideas?
