And oh how they danced, the little children of Stonehenge...On our way to Wales, we made a couple pit stops, one of which was the ancient stone ruins of Stonehenge. These days the stones are roped off and you can't get too close, but closer then I thought we would be able to (certainly perfect distance for photos.) Entrance to the grounds included an audio tour, which we didn't hear much of thanks to our restless child, who beat up one of the audio devices on the ground a bit. But I can some it up for you: "Why... why... why did they build it?" which in the end is answered with "No one knows why they built it..."
We stayed the night near Bath, which thankfully provided us with our first bath tub, appropriately enough. The 3x3 foot showers were quite a challenge bathing Eli. Bath is a place we wish we'd had more time in, as it seemed to have a lot to offer (like bath tubs en suite.)
