When a cancelled series suddenly morphs into another previously cancelled series, do their cancellations cancel each other out?
I'm wondering if "Coffee, Tea or Annie" was the episode that broke the back of ABC executives, leading to the series cancellation. It was truly uninspired, and as bad as Swingtown could be at times, this episode of mustachioed airline pilots who are swingers made that CBS series look like Mad Men in comparison.
Even the quotable Ray (Michael Imperioli and his amazing mustache) was a bit off his game this week: "He's a nookie bookie... pulls out one of theses and takes herman to the circus. You know torture the tentacle? Choke kojak? Play tug-of-war with the cyclops?
