It's a remarkably light week for the first week of November, but there are a couple interesting late night goodies nonetheless. Talented writer/actor/comedian Donald Glover is on his way to adding another slash to his title slashfest, that of rapper. While Camp (coming November 15), is technically Glover's sixth full length release under the moniker Childish Gambino -- a name taken from an Insane Clown Posse name generator -- it's his first on a label (and the first with a price tag), so it's sort of a debut. Speaking of debuts, Glover makes his network TV debut for music on Fallon on Friday night.Also on Fallon this week is the oft-maligned Air Supply. performing one of their classics on Thursday night. As time goes by, there always seems to be a revisionist look at pop music that was once hated. Whether it's an honest reassessment, nostalgia, or simply meant to be ironic, Air Supply seems to be relevant again. So we get Dean singing along to "All Out of Love" in the most recent episode of Supernatural while the Ausies are playing to their biggest crowds since the early 80s.
Meanwhile, Conan O'Brien returns to New York, broadcasting Conan from there for the four nights this week. For the week, Conan welcomes Jimmy Fallon, Reggie Watts, Paul Simon and Louis C.K.
