Doomed by Thomas the Tank Engine

So I'm in London on my way to Wales, and snuck off for a brief moment to send this off.

While we brought a laptop with us, it unfortunately has been transformed from a powerful device of communication, into a machine who's only function is to play Thomas & Friends DVDs. I was only able to post on this machine because it's the B&B's and doesn't look like ours.

Ireland was grand, and I'll report on it later complete with photos (and appropriate music, naturally.)

My daughter, has been a Thomas & Friends addict for quite some time. Welcome to the club!

I actually kind of dig it.

It's really a kick to be absorb some of the Thomas mania here in London. Everywhere you turn, Eli's yelling "T.T." (his code for Thomas the Tank.)

For instance, did you know that Sir Topham Hatt is actually known as the Fat Controller?

I also didn't know that Thomas has been around for 30 years (introduced to US in '89.) I guess 30 years ago it was more PC to call someone Fat.

We're going to the Thomas Day Out railroad exhibition coming up here shortly, so further immersion, I'm afraid, is both imminent and unavoidable!
