This first week of 2007 doesn't have much to shine a light on, but there's still an interesting 'Music On TV' convergence with
The Twilight Singers' appearance on
Jimmy Kimmel Live Wednesday night. The band revolves around frontman
Greg Dulli, formerly of
Afghan Wigs fame, and Dulli is plugged into the television world through his famous drinking buddies. First is Dennis Leary, who's excellent series
Rescue Me has
featured many Dulli songs in the past, and Leary's even gone on to
plug The Twilight Singers on in repeated interviews. Another one of
his good friends is
Donal Logue (
Grounded For Life,
The Tao of Steve) who's latest series
The Knights of Prosperity premieres this week, and is bound to have some Dulli sprinkled in the soundtrack throughout the season.
