Death From Above 1979 has officially called it quits. Apparently it's been brewing for some time, as bassist Jesse F. Keeler and drummer/vocalist Sebastien Grainger have grown apart and have been just meetin tour obligations for the past year waiting to make an announcement.
According to Keeler:
It would be more sad if we stopped changing and growing and kept playing the same songs for 40 years like The Rolling Stones. For me that would be a nightmare.Indeed.

I thought canadians always got along.. Still their remix album was more filler than killer.
Full agreement on the remix... would've been better as an EP.
This is terrible. At least Youre a Woman I'm a Machine will remain one of the best albums ever.
